It’s not as easy as the manufacturer claims. The thickness and width of the corrugations are not always equal. It is therefore necessary to adjust the insulation for the corrugations which have a weld. This makes the insulation board a bit thinner and when installing the 3/4″ styrofoam it sticks out a bit.
The difference in thickness may cause the finishing sheet metal to corrugate. We therefore opt for a thicker sheet, ie 1/8″.
